A splendid ceremony at Westbourne House, Otley saw Keith Advanced in fine style by Wharfedale Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.1027 led in fine style by their W.M. W.Bro. Philip Denison. Further good news for Wharfedale was there was also four joining members. On hand to see all of this was the Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro. J. Trevor Bolton together with a team of acting officers and members of The West Yorkshire Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge No.2018.
It really was a super ceremony with not a book in sight, perhaps not so unusual these days but proving once again the message has been taken on board and Lodges are doing there best to put on a first class performance particularly for the candidate but for the benefit of visitors as well. It really does make for a much better night.
A full Lodge room and a full Festive Board with well over forty present made it a splendid night of Mark Masonry.
A warm welcome, a good ceremony, good food and not bad company too made it a really satisfying and enjoyable night.
At the Festive Board Trevor and his team were praised for their attendance and for all the work Trevor and the team do around the Province. In response Trevor thanked Wharfedale for a great evening and said it was a great ceremony put on in style and certainly much better than his recent visit to the Alhambra in Bradford where he had to pay for the privilege!
