W.Bro. Donald Coverdale the Installing Commander did himself and Abbey Lodge proud by Installing Bro. John (Jack) Wilson in fine style on Friday 30th October 2026.
On hand to see it was W.Bro. Philip Oldfield Assistant Provincial Grand Master and, several other distinguished guests some coming from as far afield as the Province of Warwickshire.
All the Brethren taking part did a brilliant job and delivered a first-class ceremony which was enjoyed by all. Once in the chair Jack took over and ran it with style showing a relaxed and confident manner bringing the rest of the business in quick succession and closing in style.
A wonderful Festive Board with great food and even better company. The addition of port brought along by the W.C.N. of The Carl Whitehead Lodge of RAM No. 110 W. Bro. R. Edward Wilkinson supported by his two wardens and as is customary explaining the significance of the port, decanter and raising a glass to the memory of Carl Whitehead who served this Province as Provincial Grand Master for thirty years.
A brilliant night, thank you Abbey RAM. Congratulations Jack now W.Bro. John (Jack) Wilson enjoy your year as W.C.N. No doubt we will see you around the Province.
