Britannia Mark Lodge on a Roll and in Good Spirits

V.W.Bro Philip Oldfield, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, reflected on another enjoyable evening during his recent visit to Britannia Mark Lodge.

From his travels on the previous night down the foggy Colne Valley and his search for the “Slouwit Mooin Rakers” to Tapton Hall, the journey once again led to a memorable night of Mark Masonry.

He was once again fantastically supported by the Acting Officers and Stewards. He noted what a tremendous job they have done this year and applauded their efforts. They have all truly stepped up to the Mark and fully embraced their roles as Provincial Officers. He also expressed the hope that they have enjoyed the ceremonial pageantry added to the Lodges they have supported while accompanying the Provincial Grand Master, his Deputy, his Assistant, and himself.

Back at Britannia, W.Bro Tony, the Worshipful Master, was ably assisted by his Officers and a couple of excellent substitutes during the Advancement of Bro Ryan Payne. It was a wonderfully supportive ceremony and a pleasure for all present to witness.

Also in attendance was V.W.Bro James H Newman, a senior member of Britannia, together with his past Craft Deputy, W.Bro Brian Littlejohn, who was visiting for the evening.

The evening concluded with an enjoyable festive board where, as on the previous evening, good monies were raised for the wonderful Cleeves and Whitehead Trust.
