Thursday 29th January 2026 at Cleckheaton where as everyone knows the sun never sets! saw Bro. Roderick Fraser installed in fine style as W.C.N by W.Bro. Keith Watson.

On duty and a regular visit to Cleckheaton was W.Bro. Philip Oldfield Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
Philp was offered the gavel but politely declined saying he had just returned from a cruise around the Caribbean and was declined his offer of taking charge at the helm there and so wouldn’t be taking the helm tonight but, was certainly looking forward immensely to a great night.

It was indeed a great night with some super ritual and excellent work by all taking part. The Festive board was first class, and everyone present really enjoyed the evening. Made even better by the ten visitors from across the Province. The future looks Bright at Old York RAM as all the major officers below the chair are Bros. as opposed to W.Bros. There is also a candidate planned for their next meeting in April and a joining member too.
Thank you, Old York for a brilliant night. Many congratulations to now W.Bro. Roderick Fraser W.C.N. We look forward to seeing you around the Province sailing the good ship Old York into many ports around our fantastic Province.
