Wednesday the 5th of March 2025 saw Bro. Mark Wood of Colne valley Lodge No. 1645 become a Mark Master Mason advanced in fine style to Dartmouth Mark Lodge. W.Bro. John Todd doing a fine job with little notice after his return from holiday. The Worshipful Master W.Bro. George Randall not being able to attend.
The Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. G. Gary Parker was on hand to see the ceremony looked after by W.Bro. Stuart Prince Prov. A.G.D.C.
It really was a great ceremony with some good ritual and smiles all around. A ceremony Mark will certainly remember.
Further good news for Dartmouth and the order in general as a ballot took place for two further members to join Dartmouth. One of the joining members is already a Mark Master Masons but, under the Scottish Constitution and can be seen here wearing that regalia.
April will be a busy month for Dartmouth. Wednesday the 2nd will be their scroll night, and they have a dispensation for a meeting on Thursday 17th April which will see them do a triple Advancement. They are very much looking forward to the 17th but, have said they will certainly need some help on the night. Mark Master Masons are, as we know, good at helping each other and visiting so, why not put the date in your diary book in and even volunteer to take an active role. The Province will be there, hopefully in force with the Deputy Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. Andrew J. Brown in attendance.
It was a super Festive board where Gary welcomed Mark to the order and of course to Dartmouth Lodge. Mark suitably responded and no doubt will bring much to Dartmouth in the future.
Welcome Bro. Mark Wood now a Mark Master Mason. We look forward to seeing you around the Province.
