This week, V W Bro James Newman PJGO, the Provincial Grand Master in the Craft, was installed as WM of Ruspini Mark Lodge 363 in London. He is already W Commander of Ruspini RAM. His installation was graced with the presence of the Pro Grand Master, MW Bro John Prizeman and the PGM of the Mark Province of London, RW Bro Tom Quinn, who not only did the Address to the Master but also presented a Grand Lodge certificate to one of the Lodge’s recent recruits.
The Ruspini Mark Lodge was founded in 1886 by Brethren involved in masonic charity and is named after Bro Bartholomew Ruspini, who founded the first masonic charity in 1788. To this day, its members are generally drawn from those, who are or have been connected with the central masonic charities or masonic charity more generally.
VW Bro James said he was delighted that both the Pro Grand Master and PGM were there to support him and the Lodge and demonstrated, in a practical way, the real companionship between the Orders at the highest level.
