Beaumont Mark Lodge welcomed 3 new members this evening.
Bro Lee Foster of Integrity Mark Lodge at Wakefield became a joining member, Iain McWhirter-Morrison was a rejoining member, and Bro.Steve ‘The cheese’ Thorpe was Advanced in fine form by the W.M. W.Bro. Stephen Oakden ably assisted by his Officers.
An excellent Ceremony with Lance Milburn as Senior Deacon and delivering the Signs and Secrets.
Great to see everyone’s friend, West Yorkshire’s very own equivalent of ‘Val Doonican’ …. John Whitworth as Chaplain, and ‘Working the Tools’ was the hard working Lodge Secretary, our very own APGM G.Gary Parker.
Bro. Nick Doyles Senior Warden was balloted for and proved in favour to become the next Worshipful Master to be Installed at the April Meeting.
All this was carried out under the watchful eye of The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Andrew James Brown, accompanied by members of The Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge, kept under control By W.Bro. Clive Hawkins Deputy Provincial Grand DC.
The Festive Board at Kirkburton is always great, with a hearty Minestone Soup, homemade chicken and ham plate pie, and cheese cake with ice cream.
Great fun and laughter filled the dining room. culminating in another Magical Mark evening.
