Installation at Beaumont Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.1523

Thursday 3rd April 2025 saw Bro. Stephen Oakden become the Worshipful Master of Beaumont.  On hand to see the occasion was W.Bro. Andrew J. Brown Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Richard Stone Elected Representative of the Charity Committee all looked after by W.Bro. Robert Barton a Prov. A.G.D.C. Also there was W.Bro. G. Gary Parker Assistant Provincial Grand Master.  However, Gary was there to work as he is the Lodge secretary.

The Installing Master W.Bro. Vincent Wadsworth did a super job.  Vince as many will know has his own style.  He works hard to deliver good ritual and with sincerity.  It was Vinces second Installation of the day as he had come straight from a Craft Installation meeting.  A good bet he slept well that night!

Once the Installation had taken place now W.Bro. Stephen Oakden appointed his officers.  He appointed and Invested as Senior Warden Bro. Nick Doyles which sort of mirrors his office in the Craft Province of Yorkshire, West Riding where he is the current Provincial Senior Grand Warden.  Its going to be a busy year for Nick as in May he is to be appointed as Provincial Assistant Grand Master for area 2 Yorkshire, West Riding.  Many congratulations Nick.

Stephen went on to run a lovely meeting and an equally lovely Festive Board where he promised to do his best to represent Beaumont.  He will certainly have a busy year as there were propositions made for two Brethren to be advanced into Beaumont strengthening their numbers further.

Andrew spoke of the forthcoming Provincial meeting and that there is still time to book in for the meeting to support our Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro. J. Trevor Bolton in his yearly Lodge meeting.  Unfortunately, though dining is now full to capacity and was full just two weeks after the date was published.  It really does show the strength of our fantastic Province.  Richard told of all the brilliant work our charity does for not only us its members but for our families as well as supporting local charities and communities.

Visiting is key to the Mark, and it was great to see so many visitors there chatting and enjoying each other’s company at what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.  Thank you, Beaumont Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 1523.
