Order now restored after the Covid sagas, we returned to normality with the Sunday Luncheon held at the Dimple Well Lodge on the 28th of January. We were delighted that forty nine Brethren, family and friends gathered but it was disappointing that we lost eight in the week before to, certainly in one case, Covid and others to a ‘petit Malade. I am given to understand that all are now recovered.
All present enjoyed a very pleasant repas with the occasional alcoholic beverage. We were delighted that the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Trevor Bolton and Pamela were able to join us and he received a Donation from the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Trevor Brearley to the Cleeves and Whitehead Trust amounting to three hundred and ten pounds. Time to rebuild the coffers after the seven years of Festival largess methinks, dig deep Brethren, the Cleeves and Whitehead Trust is the Jewel in the Crown of the Province of West Yorkshire.
All having thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we wended our way home with happy memories and looked forward to future events of similar kind. Take care, Smile and be happy.
