Tapton Hall, Sheffield on Wednesday 18th June 2025 Escafeld Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 1139 had a fantastic and most interesting talk from W.Bro. Phillip Glover the W.M. of the lodge. To say it was interesting is an understatement. If you like information and stories about Black Dick (The highway man), Beheading, Kidnapping, Murder, Castle Sieges, Battles, Betrayals (what more could a Mason ask for) then this is certainly for you. All to get us to the manuscript of which the first line says, “This belongs to Free Masons”. I am sure Phillip would be happy to give you further information.
A Grand Lodge Certificate was also presented to Bro. Alister Zeraati with aplomb by W. Bro. John Maxwell, unfortunately the photo didn’t transfer across – apologies.
