W.Bro. John Fitzpatrick was Installed by W.Bro. Jason Cunningham in fine style at The Masonic Temple, Dewsbury on Monday 16th June 2025.
It was a super ceremony. Jason had obviously put a great deal of effort into learning his ritual and his floor work first class – congratulations. There to see and enjoy the evening was W.Bro. Philip Oldfield Asst. Provincial Grand Master.
The food at Dewsbury is always good and again was first class. The Lodge D.C. W.Bro. Mark Kenyon is also W.C.N. of The Carl Whitehead Lodge No. 110 and, as is the tradition of that Lodge brought the port to toast the memory of Carl Whitehead who was Provincial Grand Master for thirty years.
At the Festive Board Philp spoke of how ritual should if possible be learnt. It really does make for a much better experience for the candidate or incoming Master/Commander. Philip went on to talk about the Cleeves and Whitehead Trust and how we should try to support their wonderful work by having raffles at the Festive Board and then passing that money on ASAP so the good work can continue.
