Wednesday 11th June 2025 at Pontefract Masonic Hall saw W.Bro. R. Edward Wilkinson installed as the Worshipful Master. There were well over forty there to see W.Bro. G. Brian Smart do a fantastic job installing Edward. There was other good ritual to be heard too with the Brethren doing addresses in fine style led from the front by the Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro. J. Trevor Bolton.
Edward will have great support from all the members and will certainly be helped along with the support of his Senior and Junior Wardens W. Bro’s. Fraser McPherson and John Fitzpatrick, good men indeed.
Great news for the Lodge with a further six joining members from across the Province. Of course, It is an honour to be a member of the Lodge, and it comes with certain responsibilities in supporting our Provincial Grand Master and, indeed all our Rulers by attending and talking on certain roles in ensuring our Annual Provincial meeting runs smoothly. They are also whenever possible there to attend things such as Advancements which shows the candidate the strength of our wonderful order and the fun, we have at meetings by helping each other and getting involved if possible.
