We all know how important it is to support our Craft Lodges and that a strong Craft and indeed strong Royal Arch Masonry creates a strong foundation for all companion orders and Freemasonry in general.

The Old York Lodge of Mark Master Masons T.I. have certainly received help from this growing relationship and have attracted new members from The Province of Yorkshire West Riding and, indeed further afield from the Province of West Lancashire.
Of the Five members recently to join Old York TI four are still below the Mark Chair but are the current W.M. of their respective Craft Lodges. Seen here with W.Bro. Roderick Fraser the W.M. of Old York T.I. are: Bro. Alistair McIntyre – City of Lancaster No.281, Bro. Matthew Wharton – Pilgrim Lodge No.7728, Bro. Simon Rushforth – Benevolence Lodge No.5612, W.Bro. Mark Simmons – Lodge of Peace No.3988 and, Bro. Adrian Howden Lodge of Friendship No.750.

They are all keen and active members of the Craft and very enthusiastic about Freemasonry in general. They have certainly taken to the Mark and are all in active office. No doubt this enthusiasm will rub off within their own Craft Lodges and other Lodges they visit and will bring more members into the Mark. Old York have certainly been proactive in recruiting members, but a lot of the credit MUST go to the initiative ‘THE MAGIC OF THE MARK’ which the Province of West Yorkshire were instrumental in creating.
Here’s to an ever-growing Craft membership and the benefits it will bring to not only the Mark Province of West Yorkshire but, to the Mark order and Freemasonry in general.
