Thursday 10th July 2025. A memorable evening and surely with many more to come for Grand Lodge Certificate presentation nights. This the first one being hosted by Truth Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 137 and The Huddersfield, Halifax and District Association of Mark Master Masons. Over seventy Brethren there to enjoy the occasion. Amongst the Brethren were all our Rulers supported by Acting Provincial Officers and, The President, Vice President and Junior Vice President of the association together with many Lodge representatives.
W. Bro Conner McCrudden of Truth Lodge duly opened the meeting and welcomed all offering the gavel to our Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro. J. Trevor Bolton, who on this occasion took and put his Provincial officers in their respective offices. Trevor thanked all for their support on this the first venture into such nights.
Over twenty Mark Master Mason’s from seven Lodges of the association were then presented with their Grand Lodge Certificates. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. Andrew J. Brown explained the certificate and its significance. Trevor then presented each individual with their own certificate and all four of our Rulers gave their individual congratulations.
A lecture followed “The Mark Meets the Ark” giving an insight into The Ancient and Honorable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners. This certainly made an impression as it generated a great deal of conversation around the Festive Board. We look forward to the seed bearing fruit.
Congratulations go to the association and everyone who made the night such a success. We look forward to many more fantastic nights.
