Bro. C. Alan Pridmore or, should I say now W.Bro. C. Alan Pridmore was installed in fine style in a joint effort by W.Bros. Phillip Howell W.M. and. Richard Walker, secretary.
On hand to see it was Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. G. Gary Parker and, W.Bro. Keith Bradley Elected Representative of the Charity Committee. Phillip welcomed Gary saying he hoped he would enjoy the evening and offered the gavel but, then made his only mistake of the evening saying it would be a pleasure if Gary were to take it but, that he wasn’t desperate! Gary took the gavel and said that on this occasion he would have taken the gavel for the rest of the meeting but, seeing as Phillip wasn’t desperate, he passed it back, plenty of laughter all around!
Good news for Prince Edward was that both the S.W. and J.W. are Brothers who have not previously been through the Mark chair. Further good news with a proposition for a joining member. Again, a Brother who has not been through the Mark chair. Onward and upwards Brethren.
Both Gary and Keith gave an update on what is happening around the Province both activity and charity wise. Our Province is doing really well and is in a strong position and, with increasing membership the future is bright.
Many congratulations Alan, have a great year. We look forward to seeing you around the Province.
