On a chilly Thursday evening 28th November 2024, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. Andrew J. Brown, made his way to Pontefract Masonic Hall accompanied by members from the West Yorkshire Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge No.2018.
The primary purpose of the evening was to advance Bro David Kerridge. Unfortunately, the Worshipful Master was unable to attend, so W. Bro Ian Robertson, the Immediate Past Master, took charge and skilfully led the Lodge through the ceremony.
Following the Advancement of Bro David Kerridge, three more candidates were proposed which along with the three already Advanced in 2024, is excellent news for the Lodge and the Mark in general.
The Festive board lived up to its usual high standards, and the Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro. David Whitelaw, ensured that the evening concluded promptly at around 10 p.m. It was another exceptional night of Mark Masonry, and we extend a warm welcome to our newest member, Bro. David Kerridge.
