A super night on Thursday 1st May 2025 at Thorne Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 1004. A proud moment, no doubt for the W.M. W. Bro. Mark Chafer who Advanced his son Niall of Stonegate Lodge No. 6118 into our wonderful order.
W.Bro. G. Gary Parker Asst.Prov.G.M. with an escort of 21 newly appointed Provincial Grand Lodge Officers on their first official outing of the year were on hand to see a first-class ceremony delivered by Mark and his team, not a book in site.
Gary, not taking the gavel, believed he had an easy night however, not so. There was a Grand Lodge Certificate to present to Bro. John Cram, which Gary did with an aplomb.
Brethren, if you want to see a top-class advancement ceremony conducted then why not make a trip out to Thorne as they have a further candidate to advance in October.
Niall thanked all those Brethren who took part in the ceremony and said he was looking forward to getting to know everyone better and getting involved ASAP.
